The 27th Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS), Asia’s largest technology conclave, will take place from November 19-21, 2024, at the Bangalore Palace. Organized by the Department of Electronics, IT, and Biotechnology, Government of Karnataka, and co-hosted by Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), the summit will bring together industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers to showcase cutting-edge advancements and foster global partnership
At a press conference held at Bangalore Palace, Shri Priyank Kharge, Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology & Biotechnology and Rural Development & Panchayat Raj, Government of Karnataka, shared his vision for this year’s Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS 2024). Highlighting the theme “Unbound,” he stated, “Karnataka’s growth story is powered by an ecosystem of innovation and collaboration. BTS 2024 embodies this spirit, breaking boundaries and redefining possibilities. It’s a platform where transformative ideas converge, leading to groundbreaking advancements and global partnerships. Grand Inauguration
The summit will be inaugurated by Shri Siddaramaiah, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, in the esteemed presence of Shri D. K. Shivakumar, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, and Shri Priyank Kharge. Distinguished international dignitaries include Dr Anna Christmann from Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, Ms Alexandra Dublanche from Paris Region, and industry leaders like Shri Santhosh Kumar (MD, Texas Instruments India), Shri Sriharsha Majety (Co-Founder & CEO, Swiggy), and Dr Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw (Founder, Biocon).
The ceremony will also feature the signing of key Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Switzerland and Finland and a Letter of Intent with the Sharjah Innovation Authority (UAE) to strengthen global collaboration.
