Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) has been awarded fresh orders worth ₹537 crore for a range of defence systems, including communication equipment, the Advanced Composite Communication System for naval ships, jammers, software, simulator upgrades, spare parts, test rigs, and more.
Earlier this year in May, the company had inked a deal with the Indian Army Air Defence to produce the Integrated Drone Detection and Interdiction System (IDDIS). Alongside this, BEL reported receiving additional orders amounting to ₹572 crore. The orders cover key components such as IDDIS, Software Defined Radios (SDRs), Data Communication Units (DCUs) for attack guns, AI-based solutions for naval operations, simulators, communication devices, jammers, spare parts, and ongoing support services.
