Bedi Steels Limited, based in Ludhiana, Punjab, has announced that its new rolling mill will begin operations in April 2025. The new facility, with an annual production capacity of 70,000 tonnes, will produce a variety of steel products, including Round Bars, RCS/Square Bars, Hex Bars, and Flat Bars. This expansion represents a strategic move towards offering more value-added products, allowing the company to tap into new growth opportunities.
The state-of-the-art mill, which was built with an investment of ₹13.49 crore, incorporates the latest in metallurgical technology and automation. The new products manufactured at this plant will be supplied to forging companies, which will use them to create components and parts for various industries.

Bedi Steels operates its manufacturing plant in Doraha Village, Ludhiana, Punjab, which spans an area of 13,750 square yards. The plant includes a dedicated shed for manufacturing and storing ingots, measuring 320*80 Sq. Feet, and houses two 10-tonne furnaces. The company, known for producing steel and alloy ingots under the brand name “Bedi,” supplies these ingots—used for casting, rolling, forging, and extrusion processes—to forging companies in Ludhiana, Jalandhar, and Mandi Gobindgarh in Punjab.
