Bartronics India Limited, a leading provider of technology-driven financial inclusion and digital infrastructure solutions, has been appointed by Bank of Maharashtra as a Corporate Business Correspondent (CBC) Vendor for a tenure of five years. This new empanelment strengthens the long-standing relationship between Bartronics India and Bank of Maharashtra, built over 15 years of successful collaboration. The appointment reflects the Bank’s continued confidence in Bartronics’ operational excellence, robust service delivery, and commitment to advancing financial inclusion across the country.
Bartronics has been among the top-performing CBC partners for the Bank, consistently achieving strong results in account opening, microinsurance, and social security enrollments. Currently, the company’s operations under Bank of Maharashtra cover more than 1,800 villages, providing secure, ISO-certified banking services to over 15 million people.
Under this renewed partnership, Bartronics plans to scale its outreach by expanding its network from 1,800 to 3,000 Customer Service Points (CSPs) within the next 6–9 months. The expansion will focus on the states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Karnataka, adding 1,200 new CSPs and creating employment opportunities for an equal number of local agents. This growth initiative is projected to contribute an estimated ₹50 crore in additional revenue over the five-year period.
Through its CBC model, Bartronics will continue to enable the Bank of Maharashtra’s financial inclusion and outreach programs by offering essential banking and financial services — such as account opening, cash deposits and withdrawals, fund transfers, remittance services, insurance enrollments, and financial literacy initiatives — across rural and semi-urban regions.
