Bajaj Mobility AG has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary KTM AG has completed a major refinancing transaction, securing a €550 million loan from an international banking consortium. The move replaces earlier funding and strengthens KTM AG’s long-term financial position as it prepares for continued expansion.
The new loan agreement has been arranged with a consortium including J.P. Morgan SE, HSBC, DBS Bank Limited and MUFG Bank Ltd. The unsecured facility carries a five-year term with interest linked to EURIBOR plus a margin in the low to mid single-digit range. The financing fully replaces the €450 million loan extended by Bajaj Auto International Holdings BV in 2025 during KTM AG’s restructuring.
Bajaj Mobility AG said the refinancing provides KTM AG with greater financial flexibility and a stable platform to support product development, market expansion and operational improvement. The transaction also reflects growing confidence from international lenders in KTM AG’s business outlook.
The refinancing comes alongside improving operating performance at KTM AG. After a challenging first half of 2025, the company reported strong growth in the second half, with global retail sales rising by around 60 percent compared with the first six months of the year. Wholesale deliveries were aligned with demand, and inventory levels were reduced by more than 100,000 units.
KTM AG also continued its success in motorsports, building on a record 2025 season that delivered 29 championship titles. In 2026, the company secured further victories, including the Rally Dakar, along with world championship titles in Motocross and Enduro. These results highlight the engineering strength and global reputation of its brands KTM, Husqvarna Motorcycles and GASGAS. Gottfried Neumeister, Chief Executive Officer of KTM AG, said the refinancing demonstrates strong trust from global banking partners and provides the company with stability and momentum for future growth.
Bajaj Mobility AG, formerly PIERER Mobility AG, is a global manufacturer of premium motorcycles and a listed subsidiary of Bajaj Auto Limited. Through KTM AG, the company manages well-known motorcycle brands serving riders in more than 70 countries.
Headquartered in Austria, Bajaj Mobility AG focuses on performance motorcycles, street and off-road models, and racing technologies, supported by Bajaj Auto’s engineering expertise and worldwide distribution network. The refinancing marks an important step in strengthening KTM AG’s balance sheet and supporting its long-term growth plans in global motorcycle markets.
