Bajaj Auto Limited has signed an MoU with Sastra Deemed University to roll out the second phase of the Bajaj Engineering Skill Training (BEST) Centre program. This phase will expand on the success of Phase 1, which trained over 150 students in advanced manufacturing at the BEST Centre on Sastra’s campus near Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu.
Phase 2 will focus on equipping over 500 engineering and diploma graduates, particularly from tier 2 and tier 3 cities, with expertise in electronics manufacturing, firmware development, systems validation, and e-mobility. The agreement was formalized in New Delhi by Bajaj Auto’s Vice President of CSR, Sudhakar Gudipati, and Sastra Vice-Chancellor, S. Vaidhyasubramaniam, in the presence of AICTE Chairman T.G. Sitharam, as per an official release.
