Azad Engineering, a precision engineering firm, announced on Sunday that it has finalised a $53.5 million agreement with GE Vernova’s Steam Power Services division to supply airfoils for the nuclear and thermal power sectors. The six-year contract, running until 2030, involves producing and delivering sophisticated rotating and stationary airfoils for advanced nuclear, industrial, and thermal power applications.
This agreement follows the opening of the company’s new 7,600 sq m lean manufacturing facility, designed to support its volume production requirements. The deal further solidifies Azad Engineering’s ongoing strategic partnership with GE Vernova’s Steam Power Services.
