AXISCADES Technologies Limited, a Bengaluru-headquartered company known for its expertise in Defence, Electronics, Semiconductor, and Artificial Intelligence (ESAI) applications, has bagged major orders through its defence subsidiaries. These contracts span critical segments including airborne systems, naval platforms, and radar technologies—reinforcing the company’s role in India’s push for indigenous defence manufacturing. The orders were awarded by leading defence research agencies and public sector undertakings, reflecting AXISCADES’ deepening engagement with flagship national defence initiatives.
The company will develop and deliver advanced sub-systems for some of the country’s most sophisticated platforms. Key projects include the VIRUPAKSHA AESA radar for the Su-30 MKI upgrade, which involves replacing the existing Russian radar with locally developed components such as the Exciter Unit, Receiver Unit, and Antenna Beam Control Motherboard. AXISCADES will also supply high-performance Transmit-Receive (TR) modules for S-Band Surveillance Radars, which enhance long-range tracking and signal fidelity.
Other major assignments include the design of Digital Beam Forming (DBF) units for the Long-Range Battle Management Radar (LRBMR), an advanced S-band radar with a detection range of over 500 km, and the development of the Homing Receiver for the Electric Heavy Weight Torpedo—an autonomous anti-submarine system launched from submarines. Additionally, AXISCADES has secured a large-scale production contract for sonar sub-systems, further expanding its footprint in underwater warfare electronics.
These programmes, collectively valued at approximately ₹600 crore, are scheduled to be executed over a period of 3 to 5 years. The contracts will generate stable revenues throughout development, prototyping, and production phases.
