Axiscades Technologies secures order to supply Drone systems to Indian Army

Axiscades Technologies, announced on Monday that it has secured a Rs 100 crore order to supply advanced drone systems to the Indian Army. The company has already begun the delivery process of its Man Portable Counter Drone System (MPCDS).

The MPCDS, developed by Axiscades, is designed to enhance the Indian Army’s capabilities in countering drone threats. This system can operate on both battery and main power supply and is capable of covering multiple frequency spectrums, including command, control, and navigation. The system can detect and jam a wide variety of drones within a range of up to 5 kilometers.

“Axiscades Technologies has begun the delivery of advanced counter-drone systems under an order of Rs 100 crore from the Indian Army,” the company stated. The goal is to complete all deliveries by the end of 2024.

Arun Krishnamurthi, CEO and Managing Director of Axiscades, highlighted the significance of this milestone, stating, “This is the first Counter Drone System being inducted into the Indian Defence forces in the man-portable category. The system is being deployed at multiple locations across various commands in the Indian Army. We aim to continue to innovate and provide advanced security solutions to meet the evolving needs of our armed forces.”
