AVPL International, a leading player in India’s drone sector, is set to provide free drone technician training at its Gurugram Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO) center as part of the Haryana State Rural Livelihood Mission’s (HSRLM) initiative under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushal Yojana (DDU-GKY). This program aims to equip youth from districts such as Bhiwani, Hisar, Jind, Gurugram, Mewat, and Palwal with specialized skills in the rapidly growing drone industry.

Valued at ₹40,000-₹50,000, the training will be provided at no cost to eligible participants. AVPL will train 140 individuals in drone manufacturing and assembly, and 210 more in agri-input services and dairy entrepreneurship. This collaboration makes Haryana the first state in India to offer free training programs specifically targeting drone technology, setting a benchmark for skill development initiatives nationwide.

Dr Amarinder Kaur, CEO of HSRLM, highlighted the program’s transformative potential, saying, “This initiative will revolutionize skill development in Haryana, enabling youth to gain technical expertise and better employment prospects.” Preet Sandhuu, Founder and MD of AVPL International, lauded the initiative, emphasizing AVPL’s commitment to building India’s drone talent pool and supporting the state’s vision for rural empowerment.

With a strong track record under DDU-GKY, including training 360 individuals and securing jobs for 71.39% of them, AVPL International aims to create a skilled workforce ready to drive the booming drone sector. This program will contribute significantly to rural empowerment, technological innovation, and sustainable employment in Haryana and beyond.

Founded in 2016 by Preet Sandhuu and Deep Sihag Sesai, AVPL International specializes in drone technology and skill development, with the mission of “Empowering rural youth, transforming lives.” Headquartered in Gurgaon, the company has established 70+ Skill and Incubation Hubs across 12 states, becoming India’s largest drone training institute.
