In a major step toward building a self-reliant and digitally empowered rural economy, AVPL International (AITMC Ventures Ltd) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CSC e-Governance Services India Limited (CSC SPV) to promote the use of drone technology in rural enterprises and enhance livelihood opportunities for local entrepreneurs.
Through this collaboration, AVPL International will make its “Viraj UAS” agricultural drones, accessories, and comprehensive training programs available through CSC’s network of more than 500,000 Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs). The initiative will enable rural entrepreneurs to purchase, operate, and offer drone-based services via CSC’s digital platform, opening new avenues for income generation and rural innovation.

Under this agreement, AVPL International will provide advanced drones, spare parts, and technical training to VLEs and rural youth, focusing on safe drone operation, regular maintenance, and data-driven precision farming techniques. The program is designed to boost employment while introducing farmers to modern agricultural practices — including automated spraying, crop monitoring, and yield optimization.
The partnership also aims to improve agricultural efficiency and sustainability. Drone adoption can significantly reduce water usage, minimize exposure to harmful chemicals, and protect farmers from occupational health risks associated with manual spraying. By promoting indigenous drone manufacturing, the initiative directly supports the Government of India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat and Skill India missions.
AVPL International will extend after-sales support, maintenance, and warranty services for all drones distributed through the CSC platform, ensuring reliability and long-term performance. Meanwhile, CSC SPV will facilitate product onboarding, marketing visibility, and last-mile delivery support through its vast rural network, strengthening the ecosystem for digital services in villages across India. This collaboration represents a joint commitment to building a technology-driven, inclusive rural economy — one that empowers local entrepreneurs, enhances agricultural productivity, and contributes to the nation’s vision of sustainable development and digital empowerment.
