Avaada Group announced a strategic partnership with Casale on Friday to build India’s largest green ammonia plant in Gopalpur, Odisha, with a production capacity of 1,500 tonnes per day. This landmark project represents a significant step in Avaada’s commitment to advancing decarbonization, innovation, and sustainable industrial growth. It further strengthens the company’s position in India’s clean energy transition, according to a statement from the company.
The Gopalpur facility will be entirely powered by renewable energy, utilizing Casale’s cutting-edge ammonia production technology to ensure a zero-carbon process. Casale will provide the green ammonia process license, the basic engineering package, proprietary equipment, and detailed engineering support to help establish a state-of-the-art facility that aligns with India’s ambitious net-zero goals.
