Atlas Copco India to contribute ₹4 Crore to combat COVID19

Pune headquartered Atlas Copco India, through its CSR funds contributes and support initiatives which can make betterment to the community. Fighting the pandemic the company pledged ₹4 Crore, donated essential supplies to Pune Police Force, and medical supplies to a hospital in Miraj.

The global leader in compressors, vacuum solutions, generators, pumps, power tools and assembly systems, Atlas Copco is all set to contribute ₹4 Crore for COVID19 relief in India. Being part of fighting the pandemic, Atlas Copco has already donated 50 ventilators to the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) and over 100 oxygen concentrators to various district hospitals in Maharashtra.

Since its inception, through several CSR initiatives, Atlas Copco has strived to make the community better. Frans Van Niekerk, Managing Director of Atlas Copco India, said that the company is committed to fighting the deadly disease by contributing any support that is possible. He said that the company is very keen to extend help and take responsibility for fighting the battle against the pandemic. He added that Atlas Copco has always stood by its people and society.

Atlas Copco, continuing their support will be handing out essential medical supplies and equipment to combat the current second wave of the pandemic. Hand Sanitizers, N95 Masks, Thermo Flasks, Immunity Boosters, Mini Fogging Machines, Handheld UV Scanners, Ionizers, immunity boosters will be given to 5000 members of the Pune District Police force. Atlas Copco also donated including surgical materials, medical instruments as well as life-saving drugs to a hospital at Miraj.
