ASM Technologies, a key player in electronics manufacturing, has announced plans to invest Rs 510 crore in expanding its design-led manufacturing and precision engineering capabilities in Karnataka. The company has formalized its commitment through an agreement with the Karnataka government, under which it will acquire 10 acres of land from the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) to establish a state-of-the-art design facility.

In a statement, ASM Technologies highlighted its leadership in the semiconductor and automotive industries, noting that this investment will strengthen its position in electronics system design and manufacturing (ESDM) and precision engineering. The company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Karnataka to support these efforts.
