ASK Automotive Limited, a leading manufacturer of brake shoes and Advanced Braking Systems for two-wheelers in India, has reported strong financial results for Q3 FY25, marking its fifth consecutive quarter of growth since going public. The company achieved a consolidated total income of ₹919 crore in Q3 FY25, reflecting a 21% year-on-year increase. EBITDA rose by 41%, reaching ₹115 crore with a record margin of 12.49%, and net profit increased by 32% to ₹66 crore compared to the same period last year.

The company’s performance was driven by growth across all product segments. The Advanced Braking Systems division grew by 14%, while the Aluminium Light Weighting Precision Solutions and Safety Control Cables segments grew by 25% and 10%, respectively. However, export revenue decreased to ₹34 crore, down from ₹45 crore last year.

Kuldip Singh Rathee, Chairman and Managing Director of ASK Automotive, commented, “The significant margin improvement of 180 basis points reflects our efforts to expand value-added businesses, enhance capacity utilization, and implement cost-saving measures.”

ASK Automotive’s new manufacturing facility in Karoli is ramping up production, improving economies of scale. The company also began production at its 18th facility in Karnataka on January 14, 2025, and started trial production at a 9.9 MW solar plant in Sirsa, Haryana.

For the nine months ending December 2024, the company reported a 24% increase in total income, reaching ₹2,760 crore, and a 51% rise in PAT to ₹190 crore. CRISIL recently upgraded ASK Automotive’s long-term credit rating from AA- to AA, reflecting its improved financial position. Looking ahead, ASK Automotive expects continued growth, fueled by the expanding two-wheeler sector. The company holds about 50% market share in the OEM segment for two-wheeler brake systems in India.

ASK Automotive, which has over 30 years of experience, provides powertrain-agnostic products across automotive and non-automotive segments, with a focus on electric vehicles and exports. The company operates several state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and maintains strong relationships with both Indian and global OEMs.
