Artec 3D, a global leader in professional 3D scanning solutions, has introduced its latest innovation—the Artec Point 3D scanner—to the Indian market. The launch took place at a special event in New Delhi, organized in partnership with the Luxembourg Embassy and Artec’s long-time Gold-certified partner in India, Altem Technologies.

The Artec Point is a high-precision, ISO-certified laser 3D scanner engineered for detailed applications such as reverse engineering, inspection, and product design. With accuracy up to 20 microns, it captures reliable data even on difficult surfaces like black, glossy materials and complex geometries.

Designed for professionals in sectors such as aerospace, automotive, healthcare, education, and cultural preservation, the scanner supports a range of use cases including quality assurance, additive manufacturing, medical development, and heritage digitization. Built with a durable metal body and optimized for field and lab use, the handheld scanner features three scanning modes for versatile performance. Its 120 FPS capture speed and integration with a user-friendly interface allow for fast, repeatable data collection across various environments and projects.

Speaking on the launch, Andrei Vakulenko, Chief Business Development Officer at Artec 3D, shared, “India represents one of the most promising markets for industrial digitization and innovation. The introduction of Artec Point here is a testament to our long-term commitment and belief in India’s potential.”

Abhishek Kalra, Associate Vice President – Technical at Altem Technologies, added, “We’re excited to bring this cutting-edge tool to Indian professionals. Artec Point is more than just a scanner—it’s a gateway to innovation, collaboration, and skill-building across industries.”

Luxembourg’s Ambassador to India, Peggy Frantzen, highlighted the significance of the initiative: “This partnership is a great example of how companies from Luxembourg and India can collaborate to advance technological development. It reflects the strong ties and shared innovation goals between our nations.”

The launch event brought together key stakeholders from government, industry, and academic institutions, marking a step forward in bilateral cooperation in emerging technologies. With nearly 15 years of experience in digital engineering, Altem Technologies has built a solid reputation as a provider of advanced 3D digital solutions.
