Apple and CleanMax have entered into a strategic co-investment partnership valued at nearly ₹100 crore to support the expansion of renewable energy infrastructure in India’s commercial and industrial sector. The collaboration is aimed at accelerating decarbonization efforts and supporting the growing transition toward clean energy solutions across corporate India.
The partnership with Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Limited, one of India’s leading renewable energy providers for commercial and industrial consumers, reflects a shared commitment to advancing low-carbon infrastructure and supporting long-term sustainability objectives. The latest development further strengthens the existing relationship between the two companies, building on earlier renewable energy initiatives linked to Apple’s operations in India.
The investment comes at a time when India’s corporate renewable energy market is witnessing rapid growth, driven by increasing demand for sustainable energy sources, rising environmental commitments, and the need for energy-efficient industrial operations. The collaboration highlights the growing role of strategic partnerships in accelerating large-scale renewable energy adoption among businesses.
Kuldeep Jain, Managing Director and Founder of CleanMax, said the company is pleased to expand its association with Apple and continue supporting organizations focused on sustainability and responsible growth. He noted that collaborations of this scale help accelerate the transition toward net-zero goals while encouraging broader adoption of clean energy technologies within the industrial ecosystem.
The partnership is expected to contribute toward the development of renewable energy assets that support commercial and industrial consumers across India. It also reflects increasing interest from global corporations in investing directly in renewable infrastructure to meet carbon reduction targets and strengthen sustainable supply chains.
Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Limited currently operates across India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, providing renewable energy solutions such as rooftop solar installations, utility-scale solar projects, wind farms, hybrid renewable energy systems, and carbon credit solutions. The company serves more than 570 customers across multiple sectors, including data centers, artificial intelligence, technology, cement, steel, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, FMCG, real estate, and global capability centers.
