Ansys Software Private Limited and IIT Hyderabad Technology Incubation Center (iTIC), an incubator affiliated with the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) have teamed up to enhance technology startups’ capabilities in the field of engineering simulation. Ansys and iTIC have formalized their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding.

For over five decades, Ansys software has empowered innovators across sectors to expand horizons through the anticipatory capabilities of simulation. iTIC, operating under the auspices of the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH), serves as an incubator. It operates as a Not-For-Profit Society with a core mission of fostering a nurturing environment for emerging entrepreneurs in the field of technology.

The primary objective of iTIC is to assist these entrepreneurs in utilizing a high-caliber research environment and a startup ecosystem to create a robust platform for fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. This platform is designed to facilitate the transformation of entrepreneurial concepts into viable, scalable, and profitable business enterprises.

Surya Kumar, Vice-President of iTIC Foundation, expressed enthusiasm about the forthcoming collaboration with Ansys, citing its alignment with iTIC Incubator’s goal of incubating and accelerating startups in India.

He believes that this strategic partnership will significantly advance the innovative journey of budding entrepreneurs by granting them access to simulation tools. Dr Kumar emphasized that Ansys’ commitment to providing simulation for IITH Startup Companies resonates with their vision of nurturing startups from ideation to realization, contributing to a thriving technological innovation and growth ecosystem in India.

iTIC Incubator, focusing on creating a nurturing environment for technology entrepreneurs, offers stage-wise intervention for startups to grow in the deep-tech entrepreneurial ecosystem. IITH Startup Companies can also access Ansys Learning Hub, which offers classroom, virtual, and self-paced programs designed to enhance their technical knowledge.

Ansys’ Startup Program aims to provide early-stage startups with access to Multiphysics simulation software and high-performance computing to efficiently address engineering challenges. The program has gained global traction, benefiting over 2,100 startups from diverse industries since its inception.
