Seco, a leading global solution provider of metal cutting solutions, has announced the appointment of Andrew Hunter as its Vice President Global Sales, effective July 1, 2023. In his new role, Hunter will report to Stefan Steenstrup, President Seco, and join the Seco Management Group, contributing to the company’s strategic decision-making processes.
With an impressive career spanning 23 years, Andrew Hunter brings a wealth of experience from customer-facing roles at Dormer Pramet. Most recently, he served as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, overseeing a diverse organization comprising 450 full-time employees across 26 countries. Hunter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality & Marketing from the University of Sheffield.
As the Vice President Global Sales, Hunter will be entrusted with the responsibility of driving Seco’s growth trajectory. His main focus will be on developing and implementing robust sales strategies to increase market share. Additionally, he will oversee global sales activities, shaping the sales organization, and ensuring the acquisition of necessary competencies for sustained success.
