Ampin Energy Transition Secures Rs 742 Crore Loan for 200 MW Hybrid Energy Project

Ampin Energy Transition announced on Thursday that it has secured a Rs 742 crore loan from Standard Chartered Bank to fund its 200 MW solar-wind hybrid project in Rajasthan. The project is expected to generate over 435 million units of clean energy annually, reducing carbon emissions by 71.66 lakh tonnes each year, according to the company’s statement.

The green loan of Rs 742 crore (approximately USD 89 million) is part of the total investment of Rs 944 crore (USD 113 million) for the project. The energy produced will be sufficient to power 74,486 households.
