AMPIN Energy Transition has commissioned a 50 MW solar project in Bemetara district, marking the company’s first project in the state and its debut solar open access project in eastern India. The project was completed in just nine months.
The 50 MWp plant will supply renewable power to Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd and one of Chhattisgarh’s largest steel manufacturers. It is expected to generate around 78.21 million units of clean energy annually, supporting industrial decarbonisation and contributing to the state’s renewable energy goals.
