Amit Raina comes with an experience with more than 22 years in the manufacturing industry and worked exclusively in the cutting tools vertical. Dormer Pramet, one of the renowned brands in Indian manufacturing for cutting tools will get his expertise to further expand their market base.
Part of Sandvik Group, Dormer Pramet is one of the leading manufacturers of cutting tools in the world and serving the Indian manufacturing sector for many years. For Dormer Pramet, India is a strategic market and they invested in the country by acquiring Miranda Tools a locally grown cutting tool brand in 2020.
Giving the responsibility of the market expansion to the next level, Dormer Pramet has appointed Amit Raina as the new National Sales Manager for India. In his new role, Amit will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s sales strategy. This includes driving and executing all aspects of Dormer Pramet’s sales performance in India through channels.
Amit Raina takes the responsibility from Sharad Kulkarni, who becomes Dormer Pramet’s regional sales director for Asia, with overall responsibility for the sales teams in India, China and other key locations. Amit will join Sharad Kulkarni’s Asia sales management team. Prior to joining Dormer Pramet, Amit spent almost two decades at Sandvik Coromant and has deep expertise in sales, business, sales process and channel development.
