The Board of Directors approved this significant appointment in a meeting on April 3, 2024, setting a course for the company’s future leadership and growth.
Amit Kalyani’s new tenure as a Full-Time Director will commence on May 11, 2024, following the completion of his current role as Joint Managing Director on May 10, 2024. Having played a pivotal role in Bharat Forge‘s ascent since 1999, Mr Kalyani’s progression from Deputy Managing Director in 2019 to his latest promotion reflects his extensive contributions and the trust placed in his vision.
Amit Kalyani has been a member of Bharat Forge’s leadership for over 25 years, serving as an Executive Director since January 1999 and taking on the role of Deputy Managing Director since September 2019. An alumnus of Bucknell University, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering between 1994 and 1998. Furthering his education, Amit Kalyani completed a program in Strategic Business Management at Harvard Business School from 2014 to 2016, complementing his extensive experience in the industry with advanced business acumen.
