This partnership, announced on December 2nd, 2024, focuses on Coolbrook’s advanced RotoDynamic Heater (RDH) technology, which utilizes mechanical energy and renewable electricity to generate high temperatures in cement kilns. Joonas Rauramo, CEO of Coolbrook, noted that the RotoDynamic Heater technology could transform heavy industries by enabling innovative electrification, with the potential to reduce up to 2.4 billion tons of CO2 emissions annually, or 30% of industrial sector emissions, if adopted at a large scale.
