Amber Enterprises to Pour Rs 6,000 Crore into Electronics Hub Near Noida Airport

Amber Enterprises is set to invest Rs 6,000 crore in a major electronics manufacturing plant near the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar, a top Uttar Pradesh official confirmed. State Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta shared details of the investment following a recent meeting with Jasbir Singh, promoter of Amber Enterprises, in Lucknow.

According to an official release, the company will build facilities focused on PCB assembly, consumer electronics, and home appliance production. “This investment marks a major step in Uttar Pradesh’s push for industrial growth,” Mr Gupta said, calling it a landmark moment for the state’s economic development.

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has already issued a Letter of Intent for 100 acres in Sector 8 near the Jewar airport, strategically located along the expressway. The minister also noted that the state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, continues to make aggressive efforts to draw large-scale investments. He added that the project is expected to generate significant job opportunities and strengthen the local economy.

Amber Enterprises, known for manufacturing air conditioners and electronic components, is expected to enhance the region’s capabilities in electronics and white goods production through this planned facility.
