A group of distinguished alumni, notable personalities, and CSR contributors met with President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on March 3, 2025, during the Visitor’s Conference. During the meeting, the President expressed her pleasure in meeting such successful and generous individuals, highlighting that true wealth lies in the people of a nation. She noted it was heartening to witness the deep connection and love for India shown by its people, both within the country and abroad.
The President emphasized that education should not only focus on excellence but also include social inclusion and sensitivity. She praised the group’s success, noting that their achievements are truly meaningful as they contribute to society. Many in the group, she pointed out, have given back to the educational institutions that shaped them, strengthening values such as gratitude and service.
She also acknowledged that they serve as role models for younger generations. Their generosity, she said, sets a positive example that younger people are likely to follow.
