Alstom India Awards ₹1.5 Crores Grant to 10 Startups Driving Sustainable Solutions

As part of its Sustainability Incubation Program, Alstom India has granted ₹1.5 crores to 10 startups focused on developing innovative solutions in clean energy, shared mobility, and multi-modal transportation. In partnership with NSRCEL (NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning)-IIMB, the program aims to foster innovation and support startups in addressing climate change and sustainable transportation challenges. The selected startups will utilize the funds to develop further and deploy their sustainable solutions.

An expert jury, comprising innovation leaders from Alstom, meticulously evaluated over 200 applications and shortlisted 20 startups for the incubation program. Ultimately, ten startups were chosen to receive the grant support. Olivier Loison, Managing Director of Alstom India, expressed the company’s commitment to sustainability and fostering the ecosystem in which they operate.

The incubation program provides financial support and partnerships with research and engineering institutions, policy experts, and market access facilitators. Through capacity building, exposure to complementary collaborations, and funding opportunities, the program aims to enhance each startup’s business and technology roadmaps, empowering them to scale their ventures.
