Alpex Solar, headquartered in Greater Noida, announced on Thursday that it has received multiple solar project orders amounting to ₹1,068.84 crore from various organizations, including public sector units and state renewable agencies. In partnership with NVNR Power & Infra Ltd, Alpex Solar has been awarded a ₹349.99 crore contract by Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Ltd (CMPDIL), a subsidiary of Coal India.
The scope includes complete design, procurement, supply, construction, and commissioning of a ground-mounted, grid-connected solar power plant at Nandan Washery in the Kanhan area under Western Coalfields. The consortium, with Alpex Solar holding a 70% stake, will also develop a 32kV double-circuit transmission line and carry out bay extension works at the connected substation.
The company also secured a ₹210 crore supply contract from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for solar modules. Additional recent wins include a ₹378 crore order from a prominent industry player in early May 2025 for photovoltaic module supply, and a ₹65.33 crore contract from the Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA) to deliver 2,119 solar water pumps. In April 2025, Alpex signed a ₹380.52 crore deal for solar module supply with a major Indian manufacturer.
“Our recent string of contract wins reflects our strong execution capabilities and continued focus on delivering value across the solar value chain,” said Ashwani Sehgal, Managing Director of Alpex Solar. “These developments reinforce our growing presence as a key EPC and module supply partner in India’s clean energy sector.”
Alpex Solar was founded in 1993 by Ashwani Sehgal, Monica Sehgal, and Vipin Sehgal. The company specializes in the production of PV modules using monocrystalline and polycrystalline technologies. Their product range includes Topcon, bifacial, mono-perc, and Halfcut solar PV modules. Additionally, Alpex Solar provides comprehensive solutions, including engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of both surface and submersible solar pumps.
