Alpex Solar has announced a substantial new order valued at ₹380.52 crore for the supply of high-performance solar modules and systems. This is one of the company’s most notable contract wins, representing a major milestone in its growth journey. The project, involving large-scale solar infrastructure, is expected to be fully executed by March 2026.
Alpex Solar specializes in the production of photovoltaic modules using both monocrystalline and polycrystalline technologies. Its lineup includes advanced TOPCon and mono PERC modules. In addition to manufacturing, the company provides end-to-end solar solutions, acting as a contract manufacturer and handling engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of solar pump systems—both surface and submersible.
The company operates a 150,000 sq. ft. production facility in Greater Noida, currently capable of producing up to 1.2 GW. Plans are underway to double this capacity to 2.4 GW in the near future. Alpex Solar , headquartered in Greater Noida, India, is a prominent manufacturer of high-efficiency solar photovoltaic (PV) modules.
The company offers a diverse range of products, including bifacial, mono PERC, and half-cut modules, utilizing both monocrystalline and polycrystalline cell technologies. Beyond PV modules, Alpex Solar provides integrated solar energy solutions such as engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for AC/DC solar pumps in both surface and submersible categories.
Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility incorporates fully automated robotic systems, ensuring stringent quality control and high production standards. Alpex Solar’s commitment to excellence has earned it certifications like ALMM, IEC, and BIS, and recognition in the Photon Lab Report Germany.
In line with its growth strategy, Alpex Solar is undertaking significant expansion plans. The company aims to double its solar PV module manufacturing capacity to 2.4 GW by FY 2026, with the addition of a new 1.2 GW facility at Kosi Kotwan, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. This greenfield project is complemented by the establishment of a 1.6 GW solar cell manufacturing plant at the same location, marking Alpex Solar’s foray into solar cell production.
The solar cell facility is planned to be implemented in three phases, with the first 500 MW expected to be operational by December 2025. These expansions are set to enhance Alpex Solar’s vertical integration, allowing for greater control over the supply chain and the ability to offer comprehensive turnkey solutions to customers.
