Alpex Solar Ltd has entered into a definitive supply agreement with TP Solar Ltd for the procurement of solar cells with a cumulative capacity of at least 300 megawatts. The agreement is aimed at strengthening Alpex’s supply chain and supporting its ongoing expansion in solar module manufacturing.
In an official statement, Alpex Solar noted, “This long-term arrangement will reinforce supply chain reliability, bolster manufacturing capabilities, and align with our strategic roadmap for operational growth and enhanced market presence.”
The partnership is expected to ensure smooth and timely delivery of solar modules to key public sector clients, including the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), Central Mine Planning and Design Institute (a Coal India subsidiary), NTPC, and Singareni Collieries Company Ltd. This collaboration will also provide production continuity until Alpex’s in-house solar cell manufacturing unit at KosiKothwan becomes operational later this fiscal year.
