Alkem Laboratories announced on Thursday that its subsidiary, Alkem MedTech, has entered into a partnership with US-based Exactech Inc. to manufacture and distribute large joint implants in India. Under this agreement, Alkem MedTech will acquire the marketing rights for Exactech’s product lines, including Truliant, Optetrak, Logic Fit, Alteon, AcuMatch, Novation, and Novation CFS, within the Indian market.
The partnership marks a significant milestone for the domestic medical device industry, according to Kaustav Banerjee, CEO of Alkem MedTech.
