Air Liquide India has set up a new manufacturing unit in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, with an investment of Rs 350 crore. This air separation unit will support healthcare and industrial activities in Kosi, Mathura. The unit can produce over 300 tonnes of liquid oxygen and medical oxygen per day, along with about 45 tonnes of liquid nitrogen and 12 tonnes of liquid argon daily. The facility will supply industrial gases to Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.
The medical-grade oxygen produced here will be provided to hospitals. The company plans for the unit to operate fully on renewable energy by 2030. Air Liquide India is a major supplier of industrial gases to hospitals and industries in northern and western India.
