AIPMA Organized Plastivision India 2023 Gains Momentum with 30 Nations and 60+ Global Exhibitors

All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association (AIPMA), has organised, bringing together over 1500 exhibitors and attracting more than 2.5 lakh visitors, the 12th edition of Plastivision India 2023. Breaking records as the world’s 5th largest exhibition in the plastics industry, the event witnessed participation from 30 countries and featured 60+ international exhibitors.

Taking place at the Bombay Exhibition Center (BEC) in Mumbai from December 7th to 11th, 2023, Plastivision India 2023 aims to create unprecedented opportunities for manufacturers, buyers, sellers, and end-users, fostering business, networking, and idea-sharing.

Covering an expansive exhibit area of 1,25,000 sqm, the event showcased a diverse range of plastic products, materials, machines, molds, and technologies shaping the global plastics industry. Participating countries included Germany, South Korea, Malaysia, China, among others. Notably, major Indian conglomerates such as Reliance, HPCL, IOCL, and JSW Group actively participated in the exhibition.

Plastivision India 2023 has positioned itself as a hub for ministerial leaders, industry veterans, entrepreneurs, merchants, professionals, and importers, solidifying its status as India’s most influential plastics exhibition. With a focus on the ‘circular economy’ theme, the event introduced sustainable practices, materials, and technologies to enhance the industry’s environmental credentials.

In the inaugural ceremony, leaders from AIPMA, including Mr. Harpal Singh, Chairman NEC- Plastivision India, Mr. Manish Dedhia, President of The All India Plastics Manufacturers Association, Mr. Arvind Mehta, Chairman of NAB & GC Plastivision India, Dr. Asutosh Gor, Co-Chairman Plastivision India, and Mr. Chandrakant Turakhia, Co-Chairman NEC, Plastivision India, emphasized the event’s growth over the years.

Mr. Prabh Das, MD and CEO of HPCL-Mittal Energy Ltd., the Chief Guest at the inauguration, highlighted the significance of Plastivision India 2023 in the industry’s growth. He acknowledged AIPMA’s contribution, emphasizing the challenges faced by the plastic industry and its potential for growth. He lauded the collaboration between the government and corporates like Reliance Industries, IOCL, and HPCL Mittal Energy Ltd. in addressing concerns related to polymer import.

AIPMA extends benefits for MSMEs participating both onsite and through online branding initiatives. As the only plastics industry trade fair exhibition approved by UFI, Plastivision India ranks among the Top 5 global plastic industry events.

AIPMA anticipates that Plastivision India 2023 will surpass the previous edition’s visitor count of 2,29,000, underlining its growing significance in the plastics industry.
