On Monday, AIC T-Hub, a prominent startup incubator, unveiled its new initiative: the AIC T-Hub Lab2Market program. This innovative program is designed to bridge the gap between groundbreaking research and market-ready innovations. Out of a competitive pool of 200 applicants, 23 startups have been selected for the inaugural cohort, according to the official announcement.

The Lab2Market program is crafted to assist researchers and innovators in converting their cutting-edge ideas into successful commercial ventures. Its primary focus lies in two crucial areas: developing Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and scaling these MVPs into thriving startups. The program provides a structured pathway for turning theoretical research into tangible, market-ready solutions.

Participants in the Lab2Market program will benefit from a range of comprehensive and tailored support services. This includes engaging group learning sessions that concentrate on various aspects of product development, market strategies, and the refinement of business models. These sessions are designed to equip startups with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the complexities of the market.

Each startup in the program will also receive individualized mentorship from industry experts. These mentors will offer strategic advice and help address specific commercialization challenges that the startups may encounter. This personalized guidance aims to enhance the startups’ ability to overcome obstacles and achieve their commercial objectives.

Furthermore, the Lab2Market program features opportunities for market exposure through events where startups can present their innovations to potential investors and industry partners. This exposure is crucial for building connections and securing investment. Participants will also receive practical assistance to tackle commercialization challenges, culminating in a final demo day that will showcase and celebrate their progress and achievements.

The selected 23 startups represent a broad spectrum of industries, including sustainability, mobility, healthcare, fintech, agriculture, and more. Each startup was chosen based on their innovative solutions, clearly defined commercialization strategies, and their potential to make a significant impact in their respective markets.

Notable startups in this cohort include Declutter Solutions, ASMI Innovations, Bharat Plastipay, The Hydrogen Ecosystem, Abe Bikes, SmartKosh, Glassmart, Win Health, RhythmX, Cardiac Rehab, and Transcript Life Sciences. Other selected startups are NeoSurgix, Token-Disc, Blocks, Robic Rufarm, Bhaumya, Taejoon, Zentrix, Achintya Products, Farm Nutra/Bliss Body, Rapturous Mind, Emiant, and Uhenergy Teratech Solutions.
