Ai+ Smartphone has announced a strategic manufacturing partnership with Optiemus Electronics Limited (OEL), a subsidiary of Optiemus Infracom Limited, to expand production of smart devices in India. The collaboration will support the large-scale manufacturing of smartphones and other connected products while strengthening domestic electronics production under the Government of India’s Make in India initiative.
The agreement outlines a combined investment of approximately INR 125 crore over the next five years to support manufacturing expansion in India. The initiative is expected to generate around 1,200 jobs across production, logistics, operations, and related functions.
As part of the arrangement, Optiemus Electronics will produce around three million Ai+ smartphones. In addition to mobile devices, the manufacturing program will also include tablets, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and advanced wearable technology. This expansion is intended to establish a scalable production base in India capable of supporting Ai+ Smartphone’s growing portfolio of smart products.
Manufacturing will take place at Optiemus Electronics’ facility in Noida, with production scheduled to begin ramping up from April 2026. The facility will serve as a key hub for assembling and scaling Ai+ devices for the domestic market, with potential to support exports in the future.
Ai+ Smartphone devices operate on NxtQuantum OS, a mobile operating system developed in India and built on the Android framework. The platform has been designed with a focus on transparency, strong security standards, and alignment with India’s data governance regulations. By combining locally developed software with domestic manufacturing capabilities, the company aims to strengthen India’s technology ecosystem and reduce reliance on imported devices.
Company leadership believes there is significant room in the Indian market for homegrown technology brands that emphasize both quality and digital sovereignty. Through this partnership, Ai+ Smartphone intends to build a product ecosystem that includes smartphones, tablets, AI-enabled connected devices, and wearable technology, all supported by a manufacturing and software foundation developed within India.
The partnership also reflects Ai+ Smartphone’s long-term vision to establish a technology brand that combines local innovation with large-scale manufacturing capability. By working with Optiemus Electronics, the company expects to scale production efficiently while maintaining closer control over product quality and supply chain operations.
