In a significant step towards promoting clean mobility in India, AHAsolar Technologies Limited (ATL) has formed a strategic partnership with Savvy Realty Creators LLP, a leading developer in Gujarat. The collaboration will see the installation and operation of an advanced electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure at GIFT City, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. This initiative reflects AHAsolar’s dedication to India’s sustainable energy transition and its broader vision of supporting green and sustainable growth through innovative energy solutions.
Under the agreement, AHAsolar will build, own, and operate a network of 15 semi-public community charging points at Pragya II, a commercial property developed by Savvy Realty in GIFT City. The charging infrastructure will include one DC Portable Fast Charger (30 kW), 11 AC Fast Chargers (7.5 kW each), and three AC Slow Chargers (3.3 kW each).
These facilities will cater to office employees and visitors at the 20-story building, promoting EV adoption in this modern urban hub. AHAsolar will serve as the exclusive Charge Point Operator (CPO), handling the installation, operation, and maintenance of the infrastructure over a 10-year period starting in September 2025.
A key feature of this initiative is the introduction of Portable Fast Chargers—an innovative, India-made solution designed for mobility and smart parking utilization. These chargers, mounted on wheels and equipped with a 20-meter cable span, can be easily moved across multiple parking slots, addressing the common problem of blocked charging bays and optimizing parking space usage. This solution is a significant advancement in making EV charging more accessible and convenient for users.
To further enhance user convenience, AHAsolar will integrate UPI-based payment directly into the charging system, eliminating the need for customers to download separate apps or wallets. This direct payment method simplifies the process, allowing users to charge their EVs quickly and effortlessly.
By making EV charging more user-friendly and accessible, AHAsolar is helping accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in India, aligning with the country’s ambitious renewable energy and EV goals.
