Advanced Intralogistics, a warehouse automation systems integrator, has formed a strategic partnership with AlphaOne Robotics, a robotics and automation innovator, to enhance inbound receiving and trailer unloading operations throughout North America. The collaboration centers on the rollout of AlphaOne Robotics’ Sigma Unloader, a robotic system engineered to streamline one of the most labor-intensive areas of warehouse operations.
The Sigma Unloader is built to improve dock efficiency and material flow by automating the unloading process. When deployed within a distribution center, the system has proven capable of reducing labor requirements and processing time by as much as 85 percent compared to conventional unloading methods. As part of the agreement, Advanced Intralogistics will act as a preferred integration partner, providing system design, conveyor and palletizing integration, and comprehensive aftermarket support services.
Powered by advanced robotics and artificial intelligence, the Sigma Unloader is designed to recognize, pick, and remove items from trailers with minimal human involvement. Early performance testing shows the system achieving throughput rates two to three times higher than existing commercial unloading solutions.
“Our focus is on delivering practical, high-impact solutions that drive real operational improvement,” said Anthony Pishotti, President of Advanced Intralogistics. “Incorporating AlphaOne Robotics’ AI-driven Sigma Unloader into our automation projects allows our customers to scale efficiently while addressing labor shortages, dock bottlenecks, and workplace safety concerns.”
Tim Criswell, Co-Founder and CEO of AlphaOne Robotics, highlighted the complementary strengths of the partnership. “We’ve built Sigma to tackle some of the toughest challenges in warehouse operations. Advanced Intralogistics brings the engineering depth, integration experience, and service infrastructure needed to deploy this technology at scale. Their support will be instrumental as we introduce Sigma to large enterprise customers across North America.” Both Dallas–Fort Worth–based companies aim to accelerate innovation and deliver next-generation, AI-enabled automation solutions to warehouse and parcel operations across the region.
