Ador Welding Limited, a leading manufacturer of welding equipment, consumables, and automation systems in India, is excited to announce its partnership with Hindalco School of Excellence in Renukoot. This partnership, marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), introduces two significant initiatives: the Training of Trainers (TOT) program and the Evaluation and Certification of Trainees in welding.
The TOT program is designed to equip trainers with comprehensive expertise in various welding techniques, such as Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Oxy-fuel Gas Cutting (OFC), Oxy-fuel Gas Welding (OFW), Gauging, Brazing, Plasma Cutting, and Spot Welding. Meanwhile, the Evaluation and Certification of Trainees initiative focuses on assessing and certifying trainees’ proficiency in different welding techniques and processes.
These initiatives are crucial for ensuring that trainees possess the necessary skills and knowledge required for welding, ultimately contributing to Hindalco Industries’ operations and reinforcing a commitment to maintaining high standards of excellence in welding practices. Harshal Borole, Team Lead of the Welding Training Division at Ador Welding Ltd., emphasized the company’s dedication to upholding the highest standards of welding excellence.
As an approved training body of the International Institute of Welding (IIW), Ador is committed to providing hands-on experience and in-depth theoretical insights in line with international standards. The objective is to enrich trainers’ expertise, teaching methodologies, and grasp of industry standards. By creating similar initiatives to address skills gaps, the goal is to ensure that training for the next generation of welders is not only thorough but also in line with evolving industry needs.
The two-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will involve enrolling 100 Hindalco employees annually from the Maintenance or Production Departments, enhancing their competencies and preparing them for more advanced roles within the sector. The program will be conducted at Ador Welding’s Training facility in Pune, providing participants with an immersive learning experience. This partnership builds on Ador Welding Training Division’s extensive track record of delivering exceptional training and certification, benefiting over 50,000 welding professionals.
