Adient Expands China Technical Center to Fuel Innovation in Automotive Seating

Adient, a global leader in automotive seating solutions, has completed a significant expansion of its China Technical Center in Chongqing. The milestone event was marked by a ceremony led by Adient President and CEO Jerome Dorlack, APAC Executive Vice President James Huang, and key leadership from both the APAC and China teams, along with the staff at the China Technical Center.

This expansion is a major step in Adient’s long-term growth strategy in China, reinforcing the company’s dedication to product innovation. The upgraded center now boasts advanced facilities, such as a sled test lab and MAST test lab, that will enhance the company’s capabilities in engineering design, testing, validation, and product development. The newly expanded center offers a collaborative, flexible, and digitally advanced environment for the Adient China engineering team, enabling them to create innovative automotive seating solutions that meet both local preferences and global automotive trends.
