Adani Total Gas Ltd. announced that it has installed 1,212 electric vehicle (EV) charging points as of the end of June 2024. Another 740 charging points are currently being built. CEO Suresh Mangalani said the company plans to expand its network to cover 23 states and 217 cities soon.
The company has also launched the first phase of its Barsana biomass project near Mathura. This project will use cow dung, rice straw, and press mud to produce compressed biogas and organic fertilizer. Adani Total Gas will soon open its first LNG station in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, to serve heavy trucks and buses. The company aims to set up 10 more LNG stations across India to support long-haul transport.
The company’s revenue rose 9% to ₹1,237 crore for the April-June 2024 quarter. Net profit increased by 20% to ₹177 crore, while EBITDA grew by 21% to ₹308 crore. The company’s credit rating has also been upgraded to ICRA AA stable.
Adani Total Gas now supplies piped natural gas to 858,000 homes and has 8,542 industrial and commercial customers. The company is committed to sustainable energy solutions and expanding its role in India’s energy sector.
