Adani Power Secures 800 MW Power Supply Project in Madhya Pradesh

Adani Power Limited (APL), a part of the diversified Adani Group, has been awarded a Letter of Award (LoA) by MP Power Management Company Limited (MPPMCL) for the supply of 800 MW power from a new ultra-supercritical thermal power project to be developed in Anuppur District, Madhya Pradesh. The upcoming power plant will be established under the Design, Build, Finance, Own, and Operate (DBFOO) model, reinforcing Adani Power’s commitment to providing reliable and efficient energy solutions. The project will operate using coal sourced through linkage provided by MPPMCL under the SHAKTI (Scheme for Harnessing and Allocating Koyala Transparently in India) Policy of the Government of India.

This award marks a significant milestone in Adani Power’s growth trajectory and underlines the company’s strong presence in India’s thermal power sector. The ultra-supercritical technology to be deployed will ensure improved efficiency and reduced emissions, aligning with the company’s commitment to sustainable energy development.
