Adani group announced a Rs 1600 crore investment for a cement grinding unit in Mosama village, Nawada district, Bihar. The site is well-connected by road and rail, with Warisaliganj railway station just 1 km away and SH-83 only 500 meters from the site.
This project aims to boost infrastructure and create jobs in the region. It will provide 250 direct jobs and 1000 indirect jobs. The investment aligns with Adani Cement’s vision to support India’s economic growth and ensure environmental sustainability.
At the foundation stone-laying ceremony, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar praised the investment, saying it shows Bihar’s growth potential and commitment to sustainable development. Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, and Industry Minister Nitish Mishra also attended the event.
Karan Adani, Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director at Ambuja, said the project will create job opportunities and support sustainable infrastructure development in Bihar. Pranav Adani, Managing Director at Adani Enterprises, added that the investment aligns with the state’s development programs and their growth plans.
The Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) has allotted 67.90 acres of land for this unit. Environmental clearance is in process, and work is expected to start soon.
