Adani Energy Solutions Ltd has secured an inter-state transmission project in Maharashtra valued at ₹1,600 crore. With this addition, the company’s total transmission order book has reached ₹61,600 crore. The project involves the development of 3,000 Mega Volt-Amperes of substation capacity along with associated transmission infrastructure. Upon completion, Adani Energy Solutions’ network will expand to 26,696 circuit kilometres and 93,236 MVA of transformation capacity.

The infrastructure will support the evacuation of 1.5 gigawatts of green power from upcoming hydro pumped storage projects in the Raigad region. This electricity will help meet energy demand in Mumbai and nearby areas. The project is scheduled for completion by January 2028.

Execution will be undertaken by WRNES Talegaon Power Transmission Ltd, which has been officially acquired by Adani Energy Solutions. The acquisition was carried out under the tariff-based competitive bidding process from REC Power Development and Consultancy Ltd at a face value of ₹10 per share.
