Action Construction Equipment Q1 Profit Grows 24% to Rs 84.57 Crore

Action Construction Equipment Ltd (ACE) reported a 24% increase in consolidated profit after tax (PAT), reaching Rs 84.57 crore for the April-June quarter of this financial year. This growth is due to higher income.

The company’s operational revenues rose by 12.82% to Rs 733.63 crore. Their EBIDTA margins improved to 17.11% from 15%, with EBIDTA increasing by 28.73% to Rs 125.50 crore. The profit before tax (PBT) grew by 24.87% to Rs 111.42 crore compared to Rs 97.49 crore in the same quarter last year. PAT increased by 24.46% to Rs 83.71 crore, up from Rs 67.26 crore last year.

ACE is in talks with KATO WORKS CO LTD., a Japanese construction equipment manufacturer, to establish a joint venture in India. This joint venture aims to produce various cranes for the Indian market and potentially export value-added products using combined expertise.

Executive Director Sorab Agarwal noted that despite the General Elections, ACE maintained growth and achieved its best Q1 performance ever. Over recent years, ACE has shown high growth and improved key operating metrics, now the best in the industry.
