ACME Solar Holdings Ltd has fully commissioned its 300 MW solar power project in Sikar, Rajasthan, completing the final 60 MW phase earlier this week. With this milestone, the company’s total operational capacity now stands at 2,890 MW. The Sikar project, partly brought online at 240 MW earlier in the quarter, is spread across approximately 1,300 acres in Bikaner, a region known for high solar radiation levels. The plant is connected to the Bikaner II substation through a 220 kV transmission line and is expected to produce nearly 780 million units of clean electricity annually.

Developed under the SECI-ISTS XVIII program, the project is set at a tariff of ₹3.05 per unit as approved by the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission. The power purchase agreement is currently in the final stages of approval.

In addition to its solar expansion, ACME Solar also completed its first wind energy project this quarter—a 50 MW facility located in Shapar, Gujarat. The final 3.3 MW wind turbine was installed on Monday, finalizing the setup. This wind project operates under a long-term, 25-year power purchase agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited.

The commissioning of the wind facility marks a strategic move by ACME Solar to broaden its renewable energy base. The company’s project execution, carried out by its in-house engineering and construction teams, highlights its capabilities in handling multi-technology clean energy projects.

ACME Solar currently manages a total renewable energy portfolio of 6,970 MW, which includes solar, wind, floating solar, and hybrid power projects. Of this, 4,080 MW is in various stages of development, in addition to the 2,890 MW already in operation.

ACME Solar Holdings is a prominent player in India’s renewable energy sector, with a diversified portfolio of 6,970 MW across solar, wind, FDRE, and hybrid projects. With this new development, the company’s operational capacity now stands at 2,731.4 MW, with an additional 4,238.6 MW in various stages of development. ACME Solar is known for its in-house EPC and operations & maintenance (O&M) divisions, which enable the company to deliver projects efficiently while maintaining high operational standards, as demonstrated by its industry-leading capacity utilization factor (CUF) and operating margins.
