ACG, a global leader in integrated pharmaceutical manufacturing and solutions, has named Nikhil Kulkarni as the Chief Executive Officer of ACG Engineering. Operating from the company’s Pune office, he will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operations of the engineering arm of the business.
Nikhil brings over 20 years of international leadership experience from the automotive industry, with a strong background in global product strategy, business growth, P&L oversight, and full product lifecycle management. In this new role, he will report to Karan Singh, Managing Director of ACG, and will focus on driving innovation in line with the company’s vision of promoting global health.
Throughout his career, Nikhil has held prominent positions in India, the US, Europe, and China at leading firms such as Tata Autocomp Hendrickson Suspension Pvt. Ltd., Minda Corporation Ltd., Faurecia Clean Mobility (FORVIA), and Stoneridge Inc. He has led strategic programs in areas like power electronics, emissions control, safety systems, fuel efficiency, and driver information technologies across a variety of vehicle platforms.
Nikhil Kulkarni holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, USA, and a Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering from Shivaji University, India. He is also certified as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and in Design for Six Sigma (DFSS).
