Acer has launched the TravelLite TL44-53M-G2, a 14-inch business notebook powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and the Intel vPro platform. The new model combines AI-ready computing, enterprise security and remote manageability with a lightweight aluminium design for business users.

The notebook is designed for organisations adopting AI-enabled applications and supporting employees across office, hybrid and remote working environments. Its Intel Core Ultra Series 3 platform uses the CPU, GPU and neural processing unit (NPU) to handle different workloads, supporting productivity applications, video collaboration, content creation and local AI tasks.

The Intel vPro platform provides hardware-assisted security features and remote management capabilities for enterprise IT teams. These tools allow administrators to monitor device health, diagnose issues and manage systems across distributed workforces.

The TravelLite TL44-53M-G2 has an aluminium body, measures less than 18 mm in thickness and weighs under 1.4 kg. Its 14-inch Full HD IPS display offers 300-nit brightness and a 16:10 aspect ratio. A 180-degree hinge allows the display to lie flat for collaboration and content sharing. The notebook is also MIL-STD 810H certified for durability.

For video meetings and authentication, the device includes a 5MP infrared camera, Windows Hello biometric authentication, stereo speakers with DTS Audio and noise-cancelling microphones. These features are designed to support communication and secure access in hybrid work environments.

Connectivity options include two USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt, DisplayPort support and USB charging. The notebook also offers dual M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD slots, including PCIe 5.0 x4 support. Wireless connectivity configurations include Intel Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

The system supports up to 128GB of dual-channel DDR5 memory and dual storage drives, allowing organisations to configure devices for different employee roles and computing requirements. Acer said the notebook is designed to provide whole-day battery life, although actual performance may vary according to usage and configuration.

Sudhir Goel, Chief Business Officer at Acer India, said businesses increasingly require computers that combine performance with security, manageability and a practical user experience. He said the new TravelLite brings Acer’s commercial notebook design together with Intel’s latest processor and vPro platform capabilities.

PP Sunil Acharya, Senior Director, Global Accounts at Intel India, said the notebook is made in India and is intended to provide enterprise security and manageability to small and medium-sized businesses, enterprises and global capability centres. Jennifer Larson, General Manager, Commercial Client Segments at Intel, said Intel Core Ultra processors and the vPro platform are designed to support employee productivity while giving IT teams the security and management tools required in modern workplaces. The Acer TravelLite TL44-53M-G2 will be available in India through Acer’s commercial and enterprise channels. Pricing, configurations and availability will vary according to customer requirements.

Supported by a global workforce of more than 7,000 employees, Acer is engaged across the entire product lifecycle, from research and design to marketing, sales and customer support. Through continuous innovation, the company aims to make technology more accessible, connected and useful while strengthening the relationship between people and digital experiences.
