Ace Micromatic Group has announced the successful completion of a new school building as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative at APAC Middle School (a Government-Aided School) in Puliankulam village, Tenkasi District, Tamil Nadu. This marks the second educational infrastructure project the Group has delivered in the region, following last year’s Anganwadi renovation.

“Building the Future, One Village at a Time!” said Yogasundharam Madhanagopal, Officer on Special Duty at Ace Micromatic Group, reflecting on the handover ceremony. “We are proud to announce the successful completion of our school building project under the CSR initiative at APAC Middle School in a region that has historically received little attention from corporate initiatives.”

APAC Middle School, which has been educating over 125 students from nearby villages for more than five decades, has lacked adequate classroom space due to its distance from the main township of Kovilpatti. “This marks our second project in the area, reinforcing our commitment to community development in underserved regions,” Mr Madhanagopal added, acknowledging the vital role of Mr Ashokan, Managing Director of Srivari Alloys, for bringing the village’s needs to the Group’s attention.

The new facility—approved by Director Harish Badanidyoor and COO Ravi Rana, with a budget double that of the previous project—can accommodate over 50 additional students. “At Ace Micromatic Group, serving the nation has always been at the heart of our values,” Mr Madhanagopal noted. He also expressed deep gratitude to Durai Vaiko, Member of Parliament for Trichy, and Ashokan Sundarraj, who facilitated the timely statutory approvals and honoured the occasion as Chief Guests despite their tight schedules.

“This project reinforces our promise of building the Nation not just through industrial solutions, but also by focusing on education, upskilling, and community development wherever possible,” Yogasundharam Madhanagopal concluded. Founded in 1973 as Micromatic Machine Tools, the Ace Micromatic Group has grown into one of India’s leading privately held machinery conglomerates, with 1,000–5,000 employees and 32 sales and service offices across the country.

Its portfolio spans CNC turning and machining centres, precision grinders, special-purpose machines, automation accessories, and IIoT shop-floor solutions. Internationally, the Group supports customers from hubs in China and Germany. Guided by the ambition “to be among the Top 10 global machine-tool enterprises,” Ace Micromatic’s Micromatic Grinding division alone has delivered over 4,000 high-precision machines worldwide.
