ACC Limited, part of the diversified Adani Portfolio and one of India’s leading building materials and concrete solutions companies, announced its performance for the quarter and half year ended 30 September 2026, reporting resilient business momentum supported by an improving sales mix, higher premium volumes and capacity expansion.
Commenting on the performance, Vinod Bahety, Whole-time Director and CEO, ACC Limited, said, “We delivered a resilient performance in Q2 and H1 FY’27, supported by an improving sales mix and higher premium volumes. While the reported numbers are not strictly comparable due to the impact of MSA, the underlying business momentum remains encouraging, supported by our trade partners.
“Our growth remains trade-led, in line with our strategy, while we continue to strengthen the institutional business through a comprehensive solutions approach with a focus on value and profitability. Industry demand remains supportive and is expected to strengthen post-monsoon, aided by housing, infrastructure and capital expenditure, while improving pricing momentum should moderate the impact of elevated fuel and energy costs.”
During Q2 FY27, ACC commissioned two projects that added a combined 3.4 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of cement capacity. The company commissioned a 2.4 MTPA greenfield cement grinding unit at Salai Banwa, Uttar Pradesh. Bulk Cement Corporation (India) Limited, an ACC subsidiary, also commissioned a 3.0 MTPA cement blending unit at Kalamboli, Maharashtra, adding 1.0 MTPA of cement capacity.
ACC’s ready-mix concrete business continued to expand, with Q2 FY27 volumes rising 19% year-on-year to 1.07 million cubic metres. Volumes for H1 FY27 reached 2.04 million cubic metres, registering 18% growth over the corresponding period last year.
The company maintained a debt-free balance sheet, with net worth of ₹20,680 crore and cash and cash equivalents of ₹578 crore. ACC also retains the highest AAA/A1+ credit ratings from CRISIL. On the brand and customer engagement front, ACC expanded its Adani ACC Gold Water Shield Cement monsoon campaign across cinema, digital and outdoor platforms. The wider campaign across ACC and Ambuja Cements featured more than 2,000 cinema screens and reached over 30 million consumers through digital channels.
With new capacity commissioned, growing ready-mix concrete volumes and a focus on premium products and trade-led growth, ACC continues to strengthen its position in India’s building materials market while preparing to address demand from housing, infrastructure and capital expenditure.
