ACC Limited, part of the diversified Adani Cement portfolio and one of India’s leading building materials and solutions companies, has announced its performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, highlighting resilient operations, continued premiumisation, expansion of its ready-mix concrete business and progress towards creating the proposed One Cement Platform with Ambuja Cements.
Commenting on the performance, Vinod Bahety, Whole-Time Director and CEO, ACC Limited, said, “We have commenced FY27 with a resilient performance, driven by a higher share of trade volumes and continued premiumisation. During the quarter, profitability reflected the impact of planned maintenance of larger integrated units and higher MSA with parent Ambuja Cements, even as we continued to prioritise value-led growth and quality earnings. Our journey towards building a simpler, stronger and more integrated business continues through the proposed One Cement Platform.”
ACC said the proposed amalgamation with Ambuja Cements is progressing in line with the planned timeline. The company received the SEBI No-Objection Certificate on June 4, 2026, and filed an application with the National Company Law Tribunal on June 29, 2026. The proposed scheme remains subject to statutory and regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed during FY27.
The company’s balance sheet remained strong, with net worth of ₹20,562 crore and cash and cash equivalents of ₹375 crore. ACC continues to maintain the highest AAA/A1+ credit ratings from CRISIL and CARE, supporting its ongoing capital expenditure programme. Its ready-mix concrete business continued to expand, with the network increasing to 119 plants. Volumes rose 17% year-on-year to 0.97 million cubic metres, while the business recorded EBITDA of ₹33 crore.
ACC continued to advance its sustainability agenda during the quarter. The company was recognised as India’s Most Sustainable Company 2026 in the Cement Sector by Business Today and received GreenPro certification from the Confederation of Indian Industry for its blended cement portfolio. Its entire blended cement portfolio, including the Buildcem and Buildcem Pro ranges, also secured GRIHA certification. Additional Life Cycle Assessment and Environmental Product Declaration-based initiatives further strengthen the environmental credentials of its products.
The Jamul plant received a Silver Award at the 18th CII National EHS Excellence Awards, while the Ametha plant earned the British Safety Council International Safety Award 2026 in the Merit category. ACC also highlighted industry-wide cost pressures arising from higher imported fuel prices and increased freight and logistics expenses linked to geopolitical developments in West Asia. The company is addressing these challenges through fuel mix optimisation, increased renewable energy adoption, logistics efficiencies, higher-margin market focus and disciplined cost management.
Looking ahead, ACC expects India’s cement sector to benefit from infrastructure investment, urbanisation and housing demand. While cement demand growth may remain moderate at around 5% in FY27 amid seasonal monsoon effects, geopolitical uncertainty and input cost volatility, the company remains focused on operational excellence, digital transformation and sustainable growth.
With nearly nine decades of operations, ACC has 20 cement manufacturing sites, 119 ready-mix concrete plants and a nationwide distribution network. The company continues to strengthen its position through green energy, circular economy initiatives, digital capabilities and synergies across the Adani Group.
